Like the\noriginal javascript library, the package takes advantage of\nd3's many features: proportional symbols, pictograms,\ntypologies, choropleth maps, Spikes, tiles, Dorling cartograms,\netc. It can also be used to create pretty static vectorial maps\nin svg format, suitable for editorial cartography.",
